Academy research - Alliance speed-up

I currently have some troop research running.

When the handshake icon appears (ie alliance speed-up)

I click on the alliance speed-up icon and nothing happens.

I get no speed-up, it doesn't appear on the speed-up list (on the display tab on the right on screen) ???

This is happening to all ..If lucky you get1 help at the start of researching any troop type and they can click this...After the first time clicking the Handshake does nothing...Some have help with the troop type long after it is done.

Happens to me as well - this has been this way since the alliance speedup was first introduced. Only the very first time you do it for research it works, never after that.

when done researching, the green help icon in alliance help box stays on screen prompting others to click it and waste a contribute(slows down the alliance by using up contributes)( on a done, and did, item) again the green help stays up, wasting contributes on it, for whatever (TROOP) you last did in academy research on last- please fix Thank You (BUG REPORT)
