Open Beta Coming on March 4th

We plan to open Commanders of Evony to open beta on March 4th, 18:00 PST. All data and accounts from Closed Beta will be reset before the start of Open Beta, so everyone will have a clean start.

For the Open Beta we will open our game store, and apply some significant gameplay patches that we've been working on. Data will NOT be wiped at the end of Open Beta, so anything you build will be preserved when the game goes live!

We will also be enacting more stringent rules regarding the use of cheats and exploits. Players that use or attempt to use cheats, hacks, exploits, etc. will have harsh penalties enforced on them, including account suspension or permanent closure.

so if the game gets tons of glitches and players get built up with those glitches, we won't have the option to have our gems moved to a new live server after beta is done? We will be stuck having spent our cash on a glitched up server?

They will have many servers like they do with evony and tynon. They originally said that if they wiped the next beta we would get credit for use on a server of our choice for any gems bought. They will still have many glitches in this game yet so I am asking since it is still called a beta if they will still allow us to take our spent coin to a live server that is not beta.

Understand, and I think allowing data to go from Beta to release is a very bad idea, and shows once more Evony/uCools complete willingness to ignore their own written rules and gives me little faith that the TOS will be enforced on this game any better than it has been enforced on Evony.

Understand that they aren't going to respond openly if they aren't at liberty to reveal information. No company operates any differently. 9/10, they aren't going to tell you that they can't answer questions either.
