It's called grand CHALLENGE for a reason and last difficulty you can play is meant to be like that,that you face strongest opponents (which is lvl110) in last few tiers and respecting 109,108,107 before
although it isn't hard at all.I don't know what you call meta teams,but TF and other heroes has been replaced with SL and such for longer already.
I'm using a simply non VIP hero burst team and beat easily everything with it,maybe once or twice need retreat

the team is simplyy DV,TB and Sorceress.mixed up with VS,GK,,FrostDragon,VM,Trigger,Sky guardian,etc
can't remember I've used anything else such as WP,Herc,Halberd...not needed and not as efficient as those
Why GC have trash rewards if it's called CHALLENGE for reason? Yeah, try to kill 108-110 level full R+4 VIP team... and get Silver Lance as reward. Great!

You are separating two issues. First is the challenge itself and second is the loot.
Regarding loot, server 0-50 always got the worst loot and server 100-150 always get the better loot. Now all servers get the same loot. It is frustrating to get R2 red gear instead of R3, hope ucool remove R2 red gear from the loot. If you don't like GC 6 reward, you can demote.
Regarding difficulty, it get a bit more difficult when fighting a 109 or a 110, but it doable with everyone alive since there is no TF and no TP. A burst team should easily take out the opponent, if you can't beat a specific opponent, use MM team. Since WP became a free hero use MM, WP, VoM, Sor, Witch / Mani / Trigger

When u hit lvl 107 its easier. For now just do diff 5.
Today i have find a team With the Fucking MEGA OP EASY WIN COMPLETE SHIT OF UCOOL RETARDS Halberdier + Magic breaker + loli cat + Avenger + Shadowleaf, level 107. AND IS COMPLETELY IMPOSSIBLE to pass with a level 106 non vip team.
This is all ucool wants, to spend more money for they shitty game.
