Hello community!

I started a Tier List project (09/2017) for Heroes Charge and I want to share it with you.

Heroes Charge - Tier List

The base idea was to give you an overview of all Heroes with their strengths and weaknesses.
With that information people should be able to decide on what Heroes they want to work on and on what the don't.

This project was made all by myself and therefore the applied ratings can be sometimes subjective.
I try my best to be as objective as possible but if you find huge errors please feel free to let me know.

Besides the Tier List itself I also added more Sub-Sheets to cover different information of the game:

• Release Timeline - An overview when Hero X was released and if the Hero is available in a Shop.
• Skin - In my Tier List I only add Skins that are obtainable without having to purchase them. In the Skin Sub-Sheet I evaluate all Skins.
• Position - Since the Position of a Hero is very important you will find the exact Position of any Hero here.

I would suggest splitting PvP up into Arena/GA and WoG separately. Certain heroes are much better in WoG than in arena/GA (e.g. Ninja Assassin, Demon Assassin, Halberd Master).

Also the quality of a hero in arena/GA is strongly dependent on whether you can get that hero to R4 4 gears. Witch, for instance, is probably a B hero at best at R3, but jumps up to S/A hero at R4.

I agree with you that the PvP section should be divided into more sub categories:
Arena Atk, Arena Def, Grand Arena Atk, Grand Arena Def, War of the Gods

For now I combined them all into one PvP rating where I tried to average all the PvP parts.
As mentioned I am ranking all heroes by myself. I am a lower VIP player and therefore
my game knowledge is limited.

To your second point:
If we take Witch as an example I rank her based on the average player. This would be lv107 and R4.
The meta can be different depending on your Server bracket. I am on Server 41.

Lyph, this is fantastic! Thank you for your work on this. I can't emphasize enough how incredibly valuable this is for the community in general, especially for new or returning players. Phenomenal resource you've created here.

A few thoughts: I know this is all subjective, but I'd easily have Wind Priest and Halberd Master at an S overall. Chaplain, too. IMO, Wind Priest, Halberd Master and Turtle Fighter are definitively the three best and most versatile heroes in the game. Yes, even above Sorceress. I know this probably sounds crazy to say, but I feel like Sorc is a bit overrated in these rankings, especially compared to some of the other top tier heroes and where they're ranked here. Steel Champion at C in PvE seems a bit low too. I frequently use him in raids and elite campaigns. Other than single target PvE or physical immune situations, Steel Champion fits almost every situation.

Yes the rankings are a little subjective. I want to explain why I ranked heroes you mentioned how I did:

Wind Priest: He really struggles with R+3. With 108 and R+4 he maybe will be S Tier again. But for now he is totally out of meta and no gamechanger.

Halber Master: Yes he is very strong. But he is also very weak against magical damage and only a single target damage dealer. Also in PvE he is more or less useless. Therefore I decided to rank him A overall instead S.

Chaplain: She really shines with R+4 at 107 but she doesn't break any mode. If I would rank her S there are plenty of other heroes with 107 R+4 that are equally strong like Cat Loli or Witch for example. I feel A is an accurate ranking for her.

Sorceress: Where do you feel she is overrated? I use her in nearly all modes and she performs better than all other damage dealer. What makes her so strong is her ultimate. Compared to Wind Priest she hits every hero on the battleground and besides doing massive damage she loweres enemy's energy and has a very usefull pushback too. If she isn't S Tier who is?

Steel Champion: Since I am VIP 11- I don't have any experience with him at all. But you only see him very rarely and I can't imagine any situation where he shines in PvE compared to other heroes. He is not useless in PvE but he doesn't shine in PvE either. That is why I gave him a C. You can use him but he isn't better than other heroes.

It is very hard to rank all heroes in all categories 100% accurate alone. If someone wants to help me he is highly welcome.

Steel Champion and Wind Priest are in virtually every single top arena team, while Sorceress only makes sporadic appearances. Halberd Master is in literally every single arena team.

Given your explanations, your evaluations sound reasonable. Boy, I'm interested now in seeing how the game will change for me as my server reaches R3 and beyond. A world where Wind Priest doesn't reign supreme seems so bizarre to me lol.

I really like what you did here, there are some heroes I think are a bit underrated.

Queen of Wraith = D to C
Fiend Slayer = D to C
Imperial Executioner =D to C
Bounty Queen = D to C
Forest Fairy = D to C

Evil Blood = D to C
Arcane Sapper = C to B
Divine Knight = C to B

I will adjust Queen of Wraith and Imperial Executioner from D to C. QoW is actually used in WoG and in some GA defense teams and IE is kind of useful with 107 and R+4.
Also Ninja from C to B I agree with.

But I disagree on your other suggestions:
Armed Escort: He is a D hero because he is useless in every mode. There is no niche situation where you pick him over another hero.
Fiend Slayer: Also D because there are plenty of better damage dealer.
Bounty Queen: She is between D and C. Unfortunately her ultimate is so bad that I see her more on the D side.
Forest Fairy: Maybe I will give her a C since she has potential with 107 and R+4.
(L) Lightning Elemental: There was a time where he was useful in WoG. But I haven't seen him there for ages. That's why I rate him as D.
Evil Blood: He can be kind of useful but 99% of the players don't have him pushed/trained and that's why nobody uses him. Also there are plenty of better Offtank-DPS heroes.
Arcane Sapper: His only purpose is in a GT burst team. In every other mode you don't use him because he is too squishy. An B hero has to do well in more than one mode.
Divine Knight: He is between B and C. At the current meta I see him more on the C side. If DK/VS physical teams are getting more popular he will be back in the B Tier.
Griffin: He is a solid Offtank but there is no use for him at the moment besides Outland Portal. But maybe he deserves a B ranking like Ooze even though they aren't used right now.
Avenger: At the moment people are picking magical teams over physical teams. That's why I ranked him only B. To become A he has to be strong in a lot of situations - what he isn't right now.

Maybe add +'s and -'s, or maybe an F category? I feel there are a lot of D's that I see from time to time. You can't have a Death Gore, Mountain, Dual Wield, Warrior Monk ect... on the same level as the D's to C's that I mentioned. They are 100% useless where as a hero like Forest Fairy is a healer/DPS that is a top 5 healer in the game.

Arcane Sapper is used a lot! It may be with only one style of a team, but that team is used as a top 5 GT team

This is how I would rate your D list

Admiral = D - Only because she is a solid meat shield
Armed Escort = C/D - You could make a case for either does solid damage and decent survivability
Bear Warrior = D - He is a good damage dealer in PvE
Bounty Queen = C/D - She is a sneaky good support hero
Boxer = F - Useless
Brute = F - Useless
Cat Fencer = F - Useless
Cloud Walker = D - He does good damage and has use in plenty of PvE
Crypt Monster = F - Useless
Death Bringer = D - His ultimate can still be useful
Death Gore = F - Useless
Desert Lycan = D - His ultimate is a good streak team counter in the GT and can be useful in PvE
Devastator = D - He is a great MM team counter in the WoG
Dope King = D/F - He would be a straight F if he wasn't the best hero for the Phoenix Portal
Drunken Master = D/F - See Dope King
Dual Wield = F - Useless
Dungeon Keeper = D - He was one of the better offtanks about a year ago, but even though he isn't one of the best now he is 10x better than Dual Wield
Elder Giant = F - Useless
Ember Star = F - Useless
Enchantress = D/F - Only good for DoT Portal
Evil Blood = C/D - Under Rated I like to call him a tankier Death Bringer
Ferryman = F - Useless
Fiend Slayer = C - His ultimate is a game changer when he is facing forward, good with Sorceress
Forest Chomper = D - Good for DoT Portal some other PvE
Forest Guardian = F - Useless
Frost Mage = D - She has decent damage with CC
Ghost Musician = D - She can be good on Raid Boss battles
Ice Mage = F - Useless
Ice Spirit = D - Poor mans Frost Dragon. If you can't get Frost Dragon he is the next best thing
Inferno = D - Good Sub in WoG
Iron Dragon = F - Useless
Iron Hoof = D - Good Sub in WoG
(L) Lightning Elemental = C/D - MM counter and the best hero for War Hall defense
Lightning Master = F - Useless
Lunar Guarding = D/F - Not bad for some Portals
Machinist =D/F - Almost useless, but can be useful in the Fly Portal
Mechanical Birdman = ? - Don't know enough about this hero
Mechanical Destroyer = D - Deals too much damage to be an F
Mountain = F - Useless
Musketeer = D - Can deal good damage with the right team
Mystic = F - Useless (I have tried so many times with this guy, but he sucks!)
Nature Storm = F - Useless (See Mystic)
Nymph at Sea = D - Really good hero for Portals and decent for certain Raid Bosses
Old Curse = D/F - Not useless, but he has been passed up by too many other heroes
Phoenix = D - Great Sub in WoG and decent option against teams that don't turn you around
Pilot = F - Useless (Doesn't even help in the Dragon Portal)
Poisoned One = D - He is one of the best heroes for the Dragon Portal and Robot Fighter
Professional Killer = F - Useless
Psychic Sword = F - Useless
Psychopath = D/F - needed for some portals, but can be replaced
Queen of Curse = C/D - She can still be useful, semi good healer and is a decent MM counter
Queen of Nature = F - Useless
Rifleman = D/F - Decent for certain raid bosses
Sandstorm Hunter = ? - Don't know enough about this hero
Savage One = F - Useless
Scorpion Queen = D - Decent in a couple of portals
Shadow Shaman = D - He is used for GT teams and is a decent healer
Shadowleaf = D/F - Needed for Phoenix Portal other then that Useless
Shallows Keeper = F - Useless
Silencer = D - If he had about 10K more HP on top of the extra Training HP he would be a C. Ultimate is a good counter to a lot of annoying DPS heroes like WP and Sorc
Sniper = F - Useless
Spider Queen = F - Useless (Disease Bringer without any support or healing. Terrible Hero!)
Stormlord = F - Useless
Succubus = D - Weaker opposite version of RF, but is decent against all male teams
Swordmaster = D - He is a decent MM play
Terran Swordsman = D - Decent tank that can turn the opposition around
Troll Princess = C/D - Does a lot of damage and is a good Raid Hero
Tusked Storm = D - Decent Support hero and surprisingly good with Ninja and Avenger
Unsullied Champion = F - Useless
Vanguard Warrior = D - Still a good burst team tank with EB
Wandering Spearman = F - Useless
War Chief = F - Useless
Warrior Monk = F - Useless
Wind Master = F - Useless
Wizard Doctor = D - Useful on a couple of Portals

I dont think that Ice Mage is useless. The skinned IM is in all raid bosses teams of my server. About 16m.

I agree that in my rankings I had to give some heroes a D that aren't that useless but no one pick them because either there are even more powerful heroes or they have no niche for now.

But if I add another Tier Level there will still be heroes that are between two level.

To clarify what hero on my list is D: Every hero that isn't frequently used at all and has no outstanding purpose in at least one mode. C heroes have to be used quite often in a certain mode without being solid in more than one mode. B are strong heroes that are not seen everywhere but in a lot of modes. A are the beste heroes you see nearly everywhere and S are the outstanding ones that have certain skill (or skillsets) that make them even better than an A hero.

What I could add is ↑, -, ↓:
↑ = Top end of a Tier Level
- = Average of a Tier Level
↓ = Bottom end of a Tier Level

But then it gets even more complicated and I would need help to rank them all accurate.
