Amazon App not updating to current version

I am unable to enter the game. I have Uninstalled and re-installed the game. I still am unable to access game. I just get the screen stating there is an update in the app store...

Appears to not be tested very well at all. Those of us with Fire Tablets are ignored as usual. Update does not work, and game won't launch. Thanks for nothing.

For me the game asked me to update from app store when i am on android. I needed to update the game a couple of times from googleplay to work ..was the same update.

Thanks KimoD, but the thread clearly states Amazon App Store...Kindle Fires are not Android and cannot update from GooglePlay without many extra steps and installs...and it has to be installed sidebar...bad solution. Please, read the thread and keep it to the subject.

Same for me. I am in an endless do-loop of new game available, but won't load the game at Amazon.

This is getting extremely annoying! I have spent way too much money playing this game and am quite frankly getting fed up with the constant crashes and bugs. If it continues I will seek remedy though the courts to get a complete refund of every cent I have spent X3!!! Please get your crap together people!

For my part, I'm not trying to collect treble damages. I just want to suggest that expiration of an agreement with Amazon is one reason things like this happen on the last day of a month. The content of the update page I'm taken to references new heroes for March being Lightning Master, Ancient Protector and Death Bringer. It would stand to reason that an annually termed contract that was effective 01 March would expire 28 February.

Many of us are having the same issue. At a very crutial time only hours before WoG ends... I was making a push to hit top 100 for rewards and now by the looks of it I probably woulnt get there....

I am having the same problem. I am on kindle and it said it I installed last night. Today is says I need to download the new app. On kindle they are pushed. I can't download it. The only information I have is account name: Jinxie, server; 167.

Guys I found a work around to get this fixed.
On your Android Device
Go into settings > Application Manager
Choose the Amazon App
Choose either Clear Data there or Storage if Clear Data isnt an option, and then Clear Data
Restart the app-store and then you will be able to update Heroes Charge

Has anyone tried this work around? I am afraid it will erase account data. Please report back if it works for you.
