Amazon App not updating to current version

I cleared the data on the device, deleted the app, reinstalled it, and it finally worked. I play on Kindle fire BTW.

Guys, Clear the Data on the AMAZON APP, not Heroes Charge. If you do it correctly you woulnt loose anything. If you dont follow correctly though you could loose all of your preset teams

Has anyone tried this work around? I am afraid it will erase account data. Please report back if it works for you.

I would advise waiting for an official fix from someone employed by UCool. I performed this type of workaround last year and it almost cost me the account. I had a difficult time getting my account back. The Kindle Fire wouldn't restore the data that was backed up on the cloud and I ended up having to have UCool restore it which took two days.

You will have better luck contacting Amazon. Its an issue with their App, which is why clearing the Apps data allows you to see the update afterwards so that you can update it

This worked for me... After clearing the data from the Amazon app it updated for me. It took a little longer than normal, there was no button to push to do it... So be patient.

Just a note I am on android not a fire tablet.
