My opinion: skins should be cosmetic, no attributes.
But I see the major problem here: the artwork of the two skins introduced above is terrible! Especially that of Mani. What are you doing ucool?
So again, pls dont add attributes. I dont want to be forced to make my heroes ugly.

I totally agree with this. Skin is suppose to make the hero beautiful or unique. If it has attributes then we are force to choose the bonus stats instead of the appearance. Then maybe don't call it skin anymore?

As it is described: once you obtain the skin you have the attributes, no matter if you wear the skin or not.
So in the end it's like a stat boost to buy (for what we need to see) , coming along with a skin you can use or not

This is a potential gamebreaker for me.
The game is already too payment dependant. Its not true pay2win, but close.
The difference is that as it is now, if you don't pay, you can still get everything, just much slower that those who pay.
But this is 100% pay to get stronger - and if you are on the competitive side of the game, then you have to buy it, or give up the competitive edge.
And lets be honest, this is not a game we play for 1-2+ years for the fun content. We play to compete.
Maybe the gem prices will be low, so they dont matter much. But this is a principle for many, and I fear many will leave the game this time.

I'm not totally against it, but I prefer it would be more used to bring back the old heroes. Cosmetic is just Cosmetic, I woulsn't buy it, because it serves no purpose for me, rather spend the gems on training then.

But I do wish to see heroes have a comeback, like there was a time that Warchief, Old Curse, Frost Mage was a common thing to use.

Would you, as low VIP (or 0 VIP) prefer to have at least 1 skin, or you prefer to have none because each skin will cost 30.000 gems (and only guy vips will be able to buy it?

I rather prefer to at least have access to 1 and let VIPs have 99 skins, as long as you can only use 1 per battle.

well personally i dont agree with this and i would believe many other low / non vips wouldnt as well
i would rather have no skin and save up for the best skin than to be stuck with a bad skin and never have the chance of getting the best skin

Huge amount of games right now have mounts/skins or costumes, wings and other cosmetic things. Most of them give small buffs too.

2) Buffs are cumulative, so you can imagine how much advantage it will be in the future...

They can change it, they already nerf some things what we see on test server. Of course, some people buy skins because they love it, some people buy skins because they want advantage. Skins should be cosmetic only - if they're cosmetic-only, I'm fine with Ucool charging whatever they want. If they insist on making skins provide stats, , though, then they should be obtainable without gems or purchase.

I feel very strongly about this. I've spent a boatload on this game, but if they go with pay-to-win skins, that will push me to quit. It's too egregious and blatant of a money-grab without providing any real content. It's basically a glorified enchant that you buy with real money. That's too far.

Ucool -- If you want to charge for skins, cosmetic only. If you want them to provide stats, then they need to be obtainable without gems or cash (like enchants, or Legendary abilities, etc.).

Exactly what I think (vip 13 here). Though feeling stronger that skins should be more cosmetic or called differently. If they have stats, then everybody is going to choose the same skin... which makes it totally pointless... it would be interesting if they had different attributes and you had to choose.

tbh, im afraid ucool will make this skin overpriced.. since now the price is still 1 gems on test server... they re still deciding this matter i think, or wait for our reaction?

as you know, ucool are targeting whales (vip 17 and 18+) and shark (vip 14++) now, and dont care about little fishs at all... so maybe the price will not be friendly to some little fishs.
