What's the point of buying more chest slots if we can't start the unlocking process until the first chest is finished?

Anyone can give me a good reason to why I should by cheat slots? I have to wait anyway... This doesn't make sense...

If you have 2 slots and win 3 or more fights and slots are blocked, you loose the chests. Same system as in Clash Royale.
But as the chests only contain gold and only little camp Ressources, for me it's not worth to have more slots anyway. Especially for the high costs to unlock slots

I'm playing a marathon game, slowly but steady, still long for me to see what high level have. Could any one share what you get at top level, how much to open slot 4th, 5th ? Well, I may never try anything, just be curious.

yeah, i though both chest can be opened at same time, and then enter cooldown phase.

Don't think, tap on that 2nd chest, it asks spend gems to open it since the other chest is opening. If you don't accept spend gems then nothing happen.

First slot 1k gems, second is 4k gems (I think) , third is 8k gems.
