Raging tide on HN or DL?

I only have enough for 1 raging tide. Who would benefit more from this r+1 red gear hidden needle or desert lycan? I was thinking about needle it would increase damage much more. For DL didnt think it would matter much since his ulti damage base on how much hp he got but about the 10% heal I'm thinking once he ulti he would be close to full hp or full. I'm so confused. Please give me your insight. Tia

i used TF RF IE and the last one i alternate between DM, LB, SH, HN. he also doesn't need to lose a lot of hp for his ulti to kill. HN on the other hand is weak against RF.

Tough call. HN really benefits from the hp, armor and mr, and is useful in a variety of teams. DL ult gets more and more insane the more HP he has and when he is the last man standing he can be really ridiculous.

Well the whole point of the game is figuring out ways to beat the super meta teams.

I would go for dl, he is absolutly insane in red1, he can take on multiple guys like an earlier game fallen dominion.
A good team to buff up your hn in would be commander mani tf ie and lb/rf, that sort of combo guarantees an hn ult for me every time, and leads to a win 95/100 times

I've had more success with DL at R1 than HN at R1 because of the current meta TF/RF/Mani set ups, HN struggles mightely thanks to RF. DL R1 when below half of his HP can one shot nearly anyone when he ult.

well i up my DL r1 first, but everything on but raging tide, then i do HN r1, put evrything on includes raging tides. The reason is that i have limited resource obviously but i use both in team 2 and team 3 in GA, so i need both. My DL, well he has enough survivality and damage most of the time, and if he ulti at low hp, its almost sure kill, raging tide give more resistant though so i am not in hurry to gear that; hn on the other hand, benefit so much from this gear, if you use her a lot, you will find it boost her survivality enough for her to ulti.

DL. HN dies too fast anyway. HN was good when RF was weak af. With RF buffed and his ultimate never missing its better to go with DL. You won't regret it.
