this argument does not hold in a world were you can buy a shortcut ... if that was not chemist but a completely new hero exclusive to the tournament shop ... it is fine^^ ... but it is chemist ... a magic stone hero, that also got a limited offer running this week ...
and by putting THIS hero in the tournament at this time ... only caters to buy the limited offer that almost no one would have bought before they released this info!
We will see .. i have not fought against a 5* chemist yet ... i just know that he is already usefull for GA at 3* Red

ucool always do the same . when they saw that players start to be unsaticfied with them throw them a good thing ( like a bone for dogs ! ) then after somedays start to nerf them !
they give us silver chests . after some weeks they nerf it ! now its just drop some useless pourple gears and in low odds some holy bible.
they released challenge then after some weeks made it impossible to lvl 93- then ppls wanted to decrease difficulty . they did it but after some weeks nerf its prizes ! now its drop gears fragments instead of compelete items .
they start to give vip players mighty heroes then start to sell their ss with money. 330 soul for 100$ then they nerf it to 99 ss for 100$ and start to put those souls in guild tournament shop that noone could buy it ! it is so simple massage : you want that damn overpower mighty chemist ?! so spend 330$ and buy it !

Common guys farming chemist stones in tournament shop for over a year is totally reasonable, right?
Buy the odd piece of red gear in tournament shop or literally blow ever tournament coin you earn for a year to have chemist 5*. Lets not forget they will probably put all the other magic stone heroes in tournament shop. You can kiss them all goodbye unless you are willing to give ucool $300 for an op hero each month. Greedy company, pathetic.

2 weeks and earn 600 + 200 + 200 + 200 + 200 (4 times bet basic odd) = 1400 = 14 ss. It's 1 ss per day. Meaning we will need 330 days to make him 5*. Crazy!

When you found an exploit, shut your mouth and exploit it as much as you could. Only tell ucool to fix it when you're too stupid to use it.

Seriously, tournament shop? Chemist? Where is CA who was released before Chemist and who was available in limited offer? Let's, see your logic - let's sell Chemist's 95 stones for 100$ and put him than in tournament shop, that way no one can have him 5*(and very little people will buy him at all). If you wanted things to go that way you screwed yourself by giving Griffin and CA to 5* for 100$ and now expect people to spend same amount on chemist but for only 95 ss? You're very wrong and very few people is that dumb to buy that offer after those before. Your logic really makes no sense to any normal person but way to go to destroy your game and push away paying customers.
Anyway putting ANY hero in GT shop is just stupid at the moment since this is a new feature and we already have enough places to buy heroes from and very few to buy gear (important gear). So instead doing dumb things like this reconsider adding some heroes to completely unused Guild shop, expanding GA shop ad removing blue gear from all 3 - arena, guild and crusade shop. Plus add more gear or fragments to soul shop
P.S. and more tanks? please, can I remind you there are mages in this game too? There are agile heroes too. When will their comeback be? Because current meta of strength heroes is way too boring and only one agile hero that worked great against those teams is not working properly for weeks. Everyone is bored of time-out teams meta, when will you finally change this?
+1 ALL of this. The devs or whoever is responsible for decisions better realize that players might be greedy but not stupid and definitely not as greedy as uCool.
