the lag is so bad I cannot get past 72 in the campaign with any of my spell defenses that I use to try to protect my town hall. What is the problem. I have refreshed constantly.

Yes, when the troops counts go high on invasions, lag goes through the roof. Sometimes as much as 30 seconds of the fight will be skipped. Try to use a spell and by the time it is cast the troops are two walls away. It appears to be a memory issue, when it occurs browser memory has gone ballistic and the system needs to be reset. After a reset, it takes 2-3 tries and then the same occurs.

It is a app grabbing all available ram and not releasing it causing the "lag", yes. Most people do interpret it as server issues. It is actually with game/flash design not properly managing memory usage.
