Sword master is in the soul shop, Ghost knight is going to be in the Magic Stone. Different locations.
Moral of the story - no information has been released (to my knowledge) that Ghost Knight will replace Sword master in any fashion.

BTW, I am redeeming a 5* cat like most players but now, unfortunately too late, I am realising that it's most likely a trap to get us wasting all of our soul coins into a worthless hero, so they can put the summoner in the same shop when we don't have the means to redeem him anymore

Cat Fencer is totally worthless. Another awesome hero. I thought that CF will be somehow at least comparable with SW... but its more like Ice Spirit at lvl 40.

I still hope its bugged like Ghost was...

Guys does GK has been fixed or still no changes so some of his skill still not work as intended?

I never see him in top 10 GA, not like griffin or chemist when they first time released.

I think I have heard that GK himself has been fixed (his skills), but his clones still have really low HP
