The best friend and the worst enemy of a hero: how to recognise it?

As the title, how can I understood who is the best friend of a hero and who is his counterpart?

With an analisis of his skills and basic stats(armor, mag res, att dmg and mag power, position)

The easy analisis is: has good att dmg, then use armor and blind to counter and attack aura to boost

The skills are more complex to analize, if he has good aoe, avoid clumped teams, if he has high single target damage, you use clones, distractions and single target heals
You can make a list of caracteristics that counters a hero to learn how to counter him

    Take FD for example
    Physical dmg
    Low MR
    High lifesteal
    High single target dmg
    Illusion to block damage

You need high armor or dmg reduction (SK, or CK)
    Magic damage(IE, Mach, Succ)
High lifesteal means you will need burst dmg (IE, Mach, Succ, CW)
High single target dmg means illusions to distract (CW)
Illusion to block damage means avoid single target dmg(No IE, no ES)

    And that's a basic análisis

    Ok, thanks.

So, for example, how can I beat a team with: Bear Warrior, Cloud Walker, Fallen Dominion, Commando, Ember Blade?

For the friends, you have to follow the same strategy? You have to fill the gap of a hero with another one?

For this team, a full magic team should do the job, with a strong tank in front (IH I gess).

Magic team with high aoe damage(FM ult will destroy these guys) they have no CC, so Phoenix will fuck them up

I'm guessing your TL is from 60 to 70ish just for the enemy team comp
If you're 90, phoenix might not work

And what if there was the Iron Hoof instead of the Bear?
Yes, I'm at lvl 90, but before leveling more my heroes, I would soulstone them to the max.

With IH instead of Bear Warrior it doesn't change a lot.. Maybe just using more aoe damage than single target damage, at the end IH is just a meat shield and won't hurt you
At 90 Admiral is better than IH

    Ok, thanks.

But I would to understand if there's a rock/scissor/paper logic that can be applied to the stats: i.e. INT > Physical Damage, Illusion > Damage, etc etc.

Since there are 5 heroes on the team, there's no direct rock> paper> sissor concept. It depends on the makeup of the team. You'll have to understand the strength and weakness of each hero so you can devise a strong attack team.

If you post team formations (with Lvl and gear), I'm sure people on the forum will respond with the appropriate counter.

With five heroes on the team, shouldn't "Rock, Scissor, Paper, Lizard, Spock" work? XD
