For the rest, I'd personally like a gearcheck in the reverse way of heroeschargehelp : that one you would see a list of items by "tiers" and you click on it, you would see which heroes need that item and at what promotion. There used to be one doing that but it was not updated and deleted I think.

U can "see which heroes need that item and at what promotion" in game by pressing 'Inventory' -> 'Click on item' -> 'Info' button.

If U see that Ur tank getting more hp, ac, mres and U need 'more tanky' tank, of cause promote him.

Lev 88,promote fd to orange without earth hammer or leave at p4.lose the 50 life steal and 12 accuracy.would think u need that hp regen from earth hammer.

It depends on your server meta. If your server lean towards magic, promote even w/o Earth Hammer to gain the extra 50% magic resistance (101->150x)

If your server is phy heavy, can leave him P4 max for more leeching, especially good for FD vs FD 1 on 1 situations. P4 can defeat orange FD some times.
