    Any thoughts on Necromancer, WM, IE, Lightning Spirit? I'm really struggling with ga def right now, it's very hard to keep position in top10 even for a few hours.

    I've lost to teams with WM in them, but they're rare and I don't understand exactly how WM works on those teams. I haven't seen much of Necro, IE, or LS and I don't use them personally, so I can't really comment much. I don't think they compare to Phoenix, Machinist, and Old Curse which are the best magic damage dealers.

    Phoenix, Machinist, OC, Mystic and FM is just 5 in total. Can't see the way to make 3 working mixed def teams with just 5 casters.

    As far as I can see, WM works very well as offtank, and this is only possible with SO or Admiral tanking. I used it with SO, Phoenix and OC in the early lvls and they had really great synergy.

    You don't necessarily need 3 mixed teams. There are only two quality front line heroes for mixed teams, those being Admiral and Vanguard Warrior. I basically run a mixed Admiral team, a mixed Vanguard Warrior team that is never placed in the first position, and either a Panda led CC team or a Hidden Needle team with WC as tank.

    We are talking about two different WMs. I was speaking of Wind Master, who seems to work at least somewhat well on teams I don't understand. You're talking about Warrior Monk, who doesn't really work in level 90 arena at all.

    My server is full of very high vip players. Panda cc doesn't work ((

    It doesn't work on defense. It is occasionally useful as a counter in regular arena and its a decent 3rd team in GA. It does fairly well versus Phoenix teams and VW/Ember in GA.

    Yeah, but ga def is my only issue right now, and it's driving me nuts.

    Most days I don't get knocked below 40. Maintaining top 10 is impossible. If you're looking for some sort of defense that will keep you in the top 10 it doesn't exist.

    The issue isn't so much strategy as competition. On my server there are just too many people with competitive attacking rosters. Mixed Admiral teams and VW/Ember teams win most matches that aren't against their counters. Somebody can attack you and lose while seeing your setup, then 10 minutes later attack you again and counter. Unless you're there to see it and shuffle your team nobody can defend against that. I have enough firepower on my roster that I can generally beat anybody once I've seen their three teams on the second try.

    The main idea is to create first team in such manner, that to counter it the opponent would need to use those same anchoring cards he would need to counter your 2nd and 3rd team.

    And it's doable, no doubt.

    You only need to win two, and that only takes 10 heroes. I have about thirty heroes with enough gear and stars for Grand Arena, the math is against you.
