    [Guide] Hero skill order

    Information

Each hero has a different order of using their skills, this thread simply catalogues the order in which every hero use their skills. This will hopefully provide information for newer players on creating their team, and maybe could also be a starting point for veterans to create some new lineups.

    Before we start

There are two orders: the starting order which is the first cycle of skills the hero will use upon starting a fight, and the repeated order which is the cycle of skills the hero will repeat for the rest of the fight (barring any silence/stun interruptions).

Now let's get started, I will do every hero in alphabetical order.

If anyone could provide information on Commander, Stormlord and Death Bringer, that would be deeply appreciated. I haven't had the chance to get these three heroes yet.

I still have a lot of retesting to do on this, so if you find a mistake, please kindly let me know. Thanks!

Very interesting info. Does using ulty change the skill order? Where do skills continue after ulty?

Nope, after you use an ultimate your skills continue where you left off.

For example, let's take a look at Emberstar.

She starts with: normal --> crucible --> caldera, if you use her ultimate after she casts the Crucible skill, her next animation will be caldera.

Nice guide. It's possible to make fight generator (assume 100% hit rate no dodge) to compare teams.

Wonder what is the actual time frame between each attack, is it 3 or 4 seconds?

This is actually nice. I was also planning to make a similar one but got lazy.
Anyways, you should also add a "Commando" effect.

For example, Without Commando, Silencer starts his cycle with NORMAL -> SILENCE -> BEFUDDLE
With Commando, Silencer starts with SILENCE -> NORMAL -> BEFUDDLE instead.

I dont know if all heroes are applicable with this "Commando effect" but worth looking up for Cheers!

EDIT: After further testing, it seems that Commando has nothing to do with the "changing" of Silencer's cycle but his positioning/cooldown(?). A silencer that is 2nd in row will do Normal-Silence-Beffudle but 3rd and 4th row silencer will open with Silence instead. Still a good variable to explore on.

And there is one more thing about tinker. If I put him in 4th slot and mystic is not in the team, he will start with his lazer skill. Otherwise he will start will normal attack.

Maybe similar like cloudwalker in crusade, booty cave, with commando/without it.

I appreciate you taking the time out to come up with this guide. But, really, it seems sort of useless.
Not every hero will start their skills liks this.
If you played a bunch of 1v1's, then, sure, this is how it will happen.
But, as soon as you add in more heroes (team of 5), then, positions becomes a factor and will change up when each hero uses their skills based upon their position.
Someone already alluded to this with Silencer. Being in 2nd or 3rd position his skills will happen in the order you describe, but as soon as you position him in fourth or fifth spot, that will change.
Same can be said for alot of heroes depending on their position in your teams composition.

FD can eat more spicy hot wings than any man alive. One time FD won a break dancing contest that he wasn't even competing in, he grabbed all the judge's girlfriends and moonwalked out of there like a boss." - Miserymachine

Just wanted to say that it could be made easier to read with rotations phrased like this:
(Basic attack → Tsunami → Waterspout → Basic attack)

    instead of:
Starting: normal --> Tsunami --> Waterspout
    Repeated: normal x2 --> Tsunami --> Waterspout

Because majority of heroes have truly even rotations with no "starting"

Heroes like Phoenix (or Commando) would become:
The 1st rotation starts initially then the 2nd rotation is repeated:
    (Flaming Birds) → (BA → BA → BA→ BA → Isarus Charge)
    (Inspiration) → (Overdraw → BA → BA → BA→ BA)

And some heroes like Cloud Walker have different rotations based on whether they are in the front or behind someone. (He makes a basic attack first instead of frost lance if in front)
