People, when will you ever understand.

Chests in crusade have a drop table - so every time it´s randomly Chosen which item you get, based on a dropchance

Or better: chests have different loot tables containing different items. for eg. there can be 1 table for red gear, containing rings, feather, etc. 1 table for orange gear containing crusade swords,ancient runes, etc, 1 table for heroes,1 table for purple gear, 1 for bleu, 1 for green,etc...something like that - each one has a certain Chance in percent. red gear table have very low Chance (maybe 1%), orange Little higher,etc...

So first the table is chosen - randomly

Most likely somehow like this (just to explain how that can work):
Based on Chance in percent, each table has a number or number range assigned.
e.g. red gear table 1% Chance -> number 1 assigned
orange gear table 3% -> number 2-4 assigned
...
green gear table: 60% -> number 41-100 assigned

So first a random number from 1-100 is generated , that determines loottable used - so you see logically hitting number 1 for red gear table, Chance is much lower as hitting anything between 41-100

After table is determined, an item in this table is chosen - either total random, or maybe with same System and items in it have also different chances.


What now was improved:
MAYBE the dropchances - but that still does not mean you get it everytime, Chance just is higher....still as this is random some can have more luck, some really bad luck all the time

and for certain:
Chance of better Drops in other Gold chests - personally got orange gear from chest 12, but think People reported also they got something from chest 9,etc
Not sure if this chests have same droptables, so meaning you can get red gear from chest 12 as well

My crusade rewards are definitely improved. I still get mostly junk but since that patch I have also got 2 rough hewn axes (from chest 9), 2 scimitars, 2 holy cudgels, 2 eagle rings and certainly more soulstones including 2x60, 4x36 and once 14. Escpecially the soulstones drop had been dramatically reduced for me the last few months before the recent improvement.

Ok, that is a factual answer. So I am not lucky and from my part loot seems worse than before. In 2 crusades a day I usally get 1 or 2x2 good loots a week. (like ring of spectre, raged sword sometimes less like crusade sword).

1 or 2 red drops a week? I've been doing 2 crusades a day since red gear started dropping, didn't get a single red drop yet.

I did however get a bunch of o+ gear after they improved the loot.

ucool are so greedy i cant belive! im vip8 and havent got continuous Godfather but i always got him every day while wasted my stamina. So we have 40% event for orange-purple stuff and didnt see that damn Godfather for 2 days
