I can't help but feel that R/R1 gear in GA shop and O2 gear to crusade/guild/arena shops was the obvious next step. Not sure why they want to make the R gear so readily available. It will be quite a dramatic change, but I have months left (not years) so would have been kind of fun seeing things shaken up a bit.

The championship needs to go by levels. Unless you are level 104-105 you can't compete.

Yup. It's not really for VIP <15 <105 anymore. It's to see who can use their +7000 attack trained heroes to beat the enemy +5500 attack trained heroes. Me and my +1100 attack heroes will sit in the corner and shake our collective heads.

well i personally still think r/r1 in crusade shop is a bad idea. if they follow the same rates a full relic of hades would be like 8k coins. people with a few hundred k crusade points can buy 50-100 items right off the bat. with shoes being cheaper u can full gear 10+ heroes just like that. a little too simple i would say

I heard a rumor some HIGH VIP were threatening to quit if Red/Red+1 gear was made available so easily to the rest of the noobs. I think it's entirely possible we won't end up seeing the R/R+1 gear in the shops if that's what's behind this. Could just be a rumor, but if they retract their plans, you'll know why.

People always threaten they will quit for all sorts of reasons so who cares anyway, let them quit. It's equally available to everyone, everyone has same chance, everyone is quite close in levels and release of gears to shops is a logical next step. Why? Because probably soon new gear levels will be available...that's what always happens, as soon as old highest tier gear is easily obtainable new level of gear is being released shortly after. Either something isn't done correctly with WoG or Apple approval just got too late for their working time lol

I don't see chest slots are worth the gems. It's only little camp ressources and a bunch of gold you get.
It gets more the higher in level you get, but on testserver even legendary chests had not really high amount of ressources. Especially if you already have WH5 - ist not worth.
And as far as I remember, you can only open 1 chest same time... So unless you don't open with gems, it's not worth.
And gem costs for opening also get higher for higher level chests
