i think it is the only major feature in the game that doesn't have any events for it. Double item drops maybe? Or all bosses open for a 3-day event? Or an event where we can defeat the boss more than just twice?

It should really be double with time rift and trials
i was wondering of a event just like your suggestion also the portal has no event so far
if a event of all portal open or double drop in a time period it would be great

It's not about difficulty, difficulty is cool, it's challenging.
What's wrong is that loot is terrible while being pretty hard to complete.
Ratio risk/reward should be improved.
