As we headin' for lvl 90 (currently 88 personally), how important do you find commandos place is in arena teams? The matches are taking longer time to end already, so the 6 second buff is giving more and more lower impact to the result of the battle, and commando apart from that 6 seconds seems to be a very mediocre-bad hero. What do you think? Could he be replaced by mystic-shadowleaf or even silencer ?

TL63 only, but I can drop my 5 cents.
First of all , that 6 second buff might be vital to using your ultimates and skills first since it applies movement and attack speed bonus, despite the short duration it's not to be underestimated.
Second, imo Commando is ment to shine in an all-agility team, perhaps with 1 strength for tank.
Third, from my impression Commando's ultimate isn't bad, it's decent infact. I don't think she has any magic crit so it wouldn't be a game changer, but it's a good supplementation to AoE comps and can kill weakend targets. It also hits all enemies on the field, regardless of how far they are from my knowledge.
But as you have said, her damage overall is quite low, that can be felt even at lower purple levels. Ultimately, there should be better options for what she does besides the 6second buff at start which is unique for the moment. There is however the factor that she is one of the easiest heroes to max, being farmable at crusade and bronze chest and naturally being one of the main choices since low levels will result in her being 5* earlier than most heroes unless you specificly avoid that. That may however be something irrelevant to you seeing that you're TL88.
Ultimately, I'd advise you to find someone on par with you and make a bunch of duels with them testing out different compositions that have commando and the same comps with something replacing it.
Still very useful. Still a staple of all physical teams. Irreplaceable.

People that use commando are an easy win for me I'm TL 86. Just use a different dps and you will do better. For sapper she seems kind of needed though. Standing in front line too long is suicide But then again if I use her with sapper the enemy will just use DV and trap him.
I'm 86 and Commando can buff OC and AS for their initial big move which can be decisive.
as soon as the metagame puts in front pure tanks she will be no longer used. Right know is still used because we still see Drunken Masters in front.
The only Commando counter tank is IH.

Commando has a place 80+, her role merely changes over time. As levels increase, and fights last longer, her usefulness slowly shifts away from her haste buff and more heavily relies on her agility aura and opening stun. While she might not be the optimal hero she was sub-60, she holds up to time better than a number of other heroes.
Life would be better with more Legos, and more naps.

I never think about 6 second buff, I only think about agile buff for whole team.
That 6 second buff can sometimes be a gamer decider tho.

I still use her at 87, still good, not really irreplaceable anymore since I can win at a decent rate even when not using her.
Matches are still fast now since most ppl are still running physical teams with off tanks like panda/WC.
I notice many teams without commando has depths voice. And most of the matches the opponent win by time over.

I use Panda-DV-VS-AS/CW-SL, I have never ended a match with time over without commando.
