Exclamation A question. Come in and see!

    Hi, everyone.

Is there a difference in stats of the heroes between, say, when we first level them up and then get stars, and when we first get the stars and then level them up?

For example, let's say that the initial agility for a hero is 1 when the hero is lvl 1, one star.
Let's say that the agility growth for 1 star is 2, for 4 star is 5.

Now let's compare the stats of the hero when we do level up and star up in different sequence.
If we give the hero 4 star when he is level 1, then, when he reaches level 3, the stat is
    1*5*5=25.
If we give the hero 4 star when he is level 2, then, when he reaches level 3, the stat is
    1*2*5=10.

The difference is huge. So Is it true?

This game is designed to have heroes having exactly same stats when you reach their limit (lvl 80, 5*, max enchanting gears). You don't have to worry about enchanting gears before or after level up, evolve more stars before or after level up, all come to the same stats later.

No there's no difference. When a hero evolves, a stat panel will appear showing all the stats he gain. The extra stat gain is calculated as follow:
(New growth - Old growth) x level. This is to compensate for the loss in stats when the hero is at low star.
From then on, everytime the hero level up, new stat growth will apply.

Using your example, in the first case the hero will have 5+5 =10 stats.

    For the second case, the hero will have: 2 + (5-2)X1 +5 = 10

From the above, we can draw 2 conclusions:

    1. Every hero will have the same basic stats given same number of stars and promotion. How you promote/ evolve has no effect on total stats because it's adjusted everytime you star up.

    2. The higher your level, the greater the stats gain from promotion. Going from 4 to 5 stars at late game could mean 100-150 str/agi which translates to lots of hp/dmg/crit. That'd why all 3 star and most 4 star heroes won't have a place in high lvl arena.
