I keep him under silence/CC most of the match, he only did 2 or 3 bombs before dying

WC and brute are not recommended for this boss, they both have low magic resist and this boss has high magic damage
Use CC units instead of tanks,pyscho as a lone tank will be enough as long as you don't let boss fire off ultis. If he fires a ulti off, you lose so make sure to stop it with pyscho/silencer US
Good CCs are warrior monk/silencer/ ice mage/ chap/ shadowleaf.
No need to wait for 85, I completed stage 3 at 81

I clear Phoenix difficult 3 by using: Panda-Psycopath-Rifle-LS-Com
Retreat until Psyco use his BS on Rifle, Rifle hit the egg twice

Phoenix difficult 4 you must have good healer and hire CW

Lord of Cave difficult 4, Psycopath-Machinist-Mysic-FM and any Int hero

Ice Dragon difficult 4 must have Pilot, try to put Pilot back to the dragon

Robot diff 4 must have Psycopath

I think Psycopath is the best of best

What team did you use to beat Robot difficulty 4?

i already try with that composition too, and others, still hard, i can manage until 1/4 hp left..

sofar i only can manage caves lvl 4 ..others still lvl 3 @@

Succubus and Old Curse also have dot attacks, maybe you could mix those in there.

Personally I stopped trying after failing the first time, I'm just lvl 76 so I have a while left to be able to beat any portal boss on difficulty 3.

I myself haven passed it, the difficulty of the stage is mostly just having your frontline tanks have enough stars/promotions/level to pass.
I'll say the best units are probably
DK(to tank+heal/shield, also aura to reduce damages from boss magic spear)
Panda(To blind boss but make sure not to use his US, will cause him to move forward, making boss attack only him)
Mystic/Machinist( also to blind)
Chaplain(to heal)
Disease Bringer(VIP only,to summon extra tank)
Monkey(VIP only,Clones to divert fire from your tanks)

Thanks for the picture but some of the info is not helpful so I don't think I'll add to the first post.
For example, WM against phoenix is a bad idea, that boss is magic immune so most of WMs attack don't work,letting the boss US with a higher HP, likely killing more of your units than it should.

Hi everyone,

I just want to share my exp about Phoenix lvl 2.
I think Shadow Shaman is a good option for those who don't have many heroes listed.
I beat him today with:
- War Chief 74 4*
- Panda 52 3*
- Tusked 73 3*
- Shadow Sham 64 3*
- Leaves Shadow 74 4*

I beat him twice at 3 stars (so no death) bcz SS has protected my panda (low level) with shield *_*
