Question Any benefits from farming items in later chapters

Since we have double-drop rate for items, I've been farming stuff to level up my heros.

Some purple gear is available in different chapters.
For example, "Bloody Eye Fragment" is available Chap 6, 8 and 9.

Given that Chap 6 needs 6 stamina while Chap 8 and 9 needs 8 stamina, is there any benefit farming in chap 8 or 9?
Or is the drop rate the same?

You can get blood eye fragment in trials at the later stage.

Bloody Eye Fragment is just an example, just wondering about if there's any benefits farming at higher levels (at higher stamina)
Or does it make more sense to farm at the lower levels since it's cheaper in terms of stamina.

    Mods? More experienced players?

    Hi.

I did some testing and there were not an increase in drop rate of purple items. You're better off using 6 Stamina for farming items

Idk if my point of view kinda weird or not, but I usually farm purple when there are more than 1 purple available (i.e Orenlheim and fanged harp with 10 stamina). Other than that, best choice maybe the cheapest one.

I was curious about this as well the other day. I found that it is more effective to farm the lower cost stamina stages, if all you are going for is an item. However, some of the higher cost stamina stages can drop 1 of 2 items you want vs the lower cost stamina stage only having 1 thing you need, then you might want to consider the higher stamina cost stage.

The advantage to farming higher stages is hero xp. Higher levels give more hero xp.

I'm level 63, and I'm finding hero XP more precious than either stamina or item drops right now.

It depends what you're going for. Personally I need every single exp potion I can get my grubby mitts on so I always farm at the highest tile I can. At times when I don't care about potions, (which is rare), I'll farm at the most economically minded tile to conserve stamina.

The only gain is really drops. Items that you get. If you saved stamina that means you gonna use it elsewhere and still gain exp. So double purple wins over one purple item imo
