6000 Team Exp or 10 Gold Chests ?

Hi folks !
I'm a very new player (lvl 17), just started this morning.
I've spent few hours on this forum to get a maximum of information, and it has been really helpful so far . However, i still got 1 question remaining . A kind of terrible dilemma I can't even solve on my own :
With 2500 gems, is it better to open 10 gold chest and get new heroes or focus on full stamina and get 6000 team xp ?

I really need your help to get the best start, thanks in advance for your advice

Not sure where I fall on this issue. I've already opened up 10 chests 3 times by level 41. I'm back up to 1600 gems and not sure what I should do with them, save up for another 10 or just go stamina. I have the card and I burn 110 gems on one Midas and th two 50 gem recharge staminas. I get enough gems from other places that it won't take me that long to get back to 2580. Really would like to get a DK for free...

I'm at level 74 now and wish I had put gems into exp rather than chests. Unless maybe you only have a few heroes that are all low star. I've opened a ton and gotten mostly crappy heroes and ok items. Doing it again I would buy the bigger potions with coins and stamina/cheese with gems. You get a lot of gems when you first run up high in arena but that settles pretty quickly. I've been up to 8 but don't see beating that now late game unless I get lucky and someone tanks. Wish I didn't spend 5000 on chests

The chests are worth opening only if there's an event running to get more heroes from them.

Those events happen? It sounds wisest to sit on the gems in that case.

Wise advice, wish I had read that before doing my chest roll. I will hold on to my gems.

if you already got balance lineup/heroes then better use gem to refill stamina and reset elites to evolve your hero.

exactly how can you get 6000 team experience from that many gems

let say you reset stamina 2x a day = 100 Gem = 240 Exp , 1000 gem = 2400Exp , you can count next by urself

You'll probably want to use gems to buy cheese to level up heroes later on. Not easy to keep a bunch of them leveled when you need 30k exp to move up a level.

Later on getting team exp is easier than keeping a team leveled (over 70)

yes, but he is talking about exp... why u will use 2590 gems in 6000 team exp when u can got 60k with 200 gems? u wanna items?
