Clarifying Drop Rate for Soul Stones

Dear Leaders,

We have been receiving complaints from time to time stating that the drop rate for soul stones or the Crusade’s difficulty/match rules have been modified without an official notice. We’d like to take a quick moment and clarify the policy:

Every drop rate/gold rate/matching rules change to chests/Crusade/Booty Cave/Campaign/Guild Raid/etc, are announced through in game mail OR forum OR event system. No unannounced drop rate/gold rate/matching rules change has been ever made from Version 1.0, and there will never be. In addition, we’ll even attempt to offer more methods for leaders to get heroes gear and other items in the future.

We'd like to clarify a few facts:
1. All drop rate related changes are listed in the change log. There are NO changes unannounced.

2. Our intention is to create a balanced game, since we believe it will create a win-win situation and that will be best for our long term profits.
The changes are to make sure the supply and demand are balanced.
For example: The low level purple gears are inflated due to unintended high drop rate from bronze chest, so we fixed it.
Another example: Due to the release of orange gear, the demand has been increased a great deal, to balance this, we've planned to release a lot new system to give purple/orange with interesting challenges. Which will be release on 1.8/1.9/1.10 and so on, until we found it balanced.

This is an ongoing process and we hope to create an interesting marathon game experiences.

3. If you believe there are bugs in drop rate system, please let us know and we'll try to identify the bugs and fix them.


We’ll ensure that our leaders are informed if these kind of changes are made. We apologize that this kind of topic is being moved to the off-topic category but encourage you to keep discussing matters and offering suggestions.

Today as usual spent like 500isth stamina through all chapters farming my SS.

Usually i collect 17~20 SS but today got just 3

i'm not overreacting but this makes no sense, it's almost impossible to have that bad luck, its like the drop rate fall from 80% to 15%, totally screwed.

We are spending time and money to this game and really have right to know if any corrections/improvements in our game.

Today, we downloaded many updates and run the game again but have no idea why. I don't want to check all heroes if any changes about their specs so please just post about in every game update even it is very small.

First of all, Thank you Ember, this thread is exactly what we need for discussing about ingame experience. Its my pleasure to report that after update, i hit reset and Crusade's difficultly were match with my team and i can drive my cruise ship to port almost without any damage(heroes lost) after stressful waves in few days ago.
For soul stones drop rate, its seem normal as usual again, i will try tmr to test it out.

Thanks for the update ember, and I agree with this poster. It would be nice to receive official change logs when any updates affect hero skills, stats, or any other changes that may be unnoticed by players.

At lvl 50 and 52 when your dps heroes almost cross the line to purple, you need to cross it first. You will notice its little difference between your heroes and opponent. So be patient and move on. If you cant lvl up at a day after then dont be shy to hit the enemy, have fun

My crusade today was very interesting. im pretty sure ucool doesn't want to make it easy for you to win lately before the update i would complete some and loose some. i believe to be balanced. now with the updates at stage 10 and 12 i get hit with uber level OMG. let me just show u.

I couldnt pass all the stages today, still 14/15 and my opponent at stage 7+ alway 2-5 lvl above. And i stuck with the guy at lvl 62. I just hit 58, its 4 lvl, my heroes at lvl 57 because there are no exp pots in invetory so its 5 lvl

It could be nice to create one "wikia" or similar about each heroe, similar to WoW webpages with all the information about all. One of the references in world of warcraft is wowhead... this is my idea.

Why?

It could be easy to announce news, also you can check information before unlocking. So you can prepare your team before unlock, and control the spending of the money and gems...

I would never dig smt out of the grave but here is what i have for spending stamina to get ss since last 3 days :
(I usually spend total around 400-460 stamina/day)
Day 1:
i have 15ss for these stages : wind 2/4, bear 1/2, brute 1/3, succubus 1/3, sk 2/9, leaves 1/6,wc 3/7, Medusa 2/3 , IE 2/4. As in chapter 8 its take 16 stamina per 1 try for ls,sk, ferryman.
Day 2 : event x2 drop for leaves, shadow shaman, medusa...
Bear 1/3, medusa 2/6, leave 2/6, suc 0/3, sk 2/9, wc 3/9, ferryman 1/6,ie 1/4 ive got fking bad feeling of farming succubus's ss while i have 98/100 for her evolution, i went out and not spent time for game as usually so i lost 120 free stamina.
Day 3 : today
Medusa 2/6, leave 2/6, suc 1/3, sk 2/9, ie 1/6,bear 1/3, brute 1/3, wind 1/5, wc 0/9... Succubus was evoled as i get her 1 more ss from crusade, but after its happened, i have 0/9 ss for wc. Wth is happening, i wonder.
So even the event is happening, i still got 2 ss per day for LS, medusa as usual, nothing different.

The droprates have not gotten higher for leaves shadow, the only change is that if u find a soul stone you will get two instead. Its still just as hard and unlikely to find soul stones.
