Wow..just, wow... New Year's isn't a Christian holiday, it is celebrated all over the world. Even if it was, there are many many non-Christians who celebrate Christian holidays all over the world. Any human being deserves the same time-off opportunities to spend at home and with their families as any other, regardless of religion or ethnicity.

I think what was really frustrating was that nobody was around to post a "hey guys, we are having technical issues, please be patient" type post here. It was a big holiday, and people having family duties and such, I get that, no problem. But when it seemed other evony games went down and were brought back up relatively quick it looked as if someone was around to fix those situations, just not for CoE. Which was frustrating. But, it is fixed now and we can all move on ( hopefully with some purdy gems tonight ) And hopefully the dev team can get to fixing some of these crazy glitches that are spreading like wildfire

It's all water under the bridge now, but I did want to offer this thought comparing CoE to the other games. It is altogether possible, although I do not know for certain, that since this is a game under development, it isn't deployed on the same servers in the same datacenter(s) that the live games are deployed on, and for that reason, the tech admins that got the other games back online would not have had access to the CoE servers to bring them back online. Just speculation on my part. But, the game is back open now, so I guess it doesn't matter anymore.
