Regarding translation issue in Italian!

We have released a new version that provides for multi-language support however there are a number of translation mistakes that have been caught in Italian. We feel terrible about this as we were responding to our leaders in requesting Heroes Charge in their native language. Thank you for the feedback from all our leaders around the world.

We’re glad to see there’s so many enthusiastic players who are willing to improve the huge task of translating and we really appreciate your help. It reminds us that we’re all walking together as we enjoy Heroes Charge and make a game we all truly love.

Hi Allen,
Ember redirected me here.
I am Italian and I would like to help improving Italian translation for Heroes Charge.
You know, it is a bit difficult to find every text during the game, so I took my rooted nexus 4 searching for the localization files, but I bet they are in a some kind of database.
Is there a way to have all the text in English and in Italian to check the translation and to propose my suggestions?
The major issue is that in Italian, some texts are not entirely visibile, so I cannot chek entirely the translation.
Waiting for an answer I will start checking the items and heroes names.

Dear Staff,
here come my suggestions.


In the very first loading screen, You translated "Updating", "Loading" and "Connecting" with "Aggiornando", "Caricando" and "Connettendo". This is correct, but in Italian is better to use "Aggiornamento", "Caricamento" and "Connessione", which are nouns and not verbs.

In the main screen "Enchanting" is translated as "Incantato" which is "Enchanted". It's better to translate it as "Incantare" (to enchant) or as "Incantatore" (enchanter).
"Time Rift", as well, can be translated as "Strappo Temporale" instead of "Spaccatura Temporale" just for hearing's sake.
"Signin" is not translated. A nice translation would be "Accesso".
"Sales" can be translated as "Vendite" or with its singular "Vendita".



The rightmost menu is not translated at all.
"Heroes" = "Eroi"
"Inventory" = "Inventario"
"Fragments" = "Frammenti"
"Daily Events" = "Eventi giornalieri" or "Eventi del giorno"


Now let's start with the items.

Every "scroll" is translated as "rullo", but it's wrong and its literal translation is "rotolo", but you can choose "pergamena" either.

Every "hood" is translated as "Copricapo", but I think "Cappuccio" is more correct.

"Helm" is wrongly translated as "Timone" which is the ship's helm. The helms our heroes wear need to be translated with "Elmo".

"Pendant" is correctly translated as "Ciondolo", but "Pendente" in my opinion sounds better.

"Inho Berry" is not translated. "Berry" is "Bacca", so if you want is "Bacca Inho".

"Fist of Tyre" and "Spark of Tyr" are translated as "Pugno di Tiro" and "Scintilla di Tiro", but if Tyre and Tyr refers to the nordic divinity or they are names, then they can remain Tyr and/or Tyre.

"Solak Soulbranch" is not translated. If Soulbranch is "branch of the soul" it can be translated as "Ramo dell'anima di Solak".

"Buckler" is translated as "Corazza", but "Corazza" means "Cuirass". The buckler is a small arm-shield, anciently called "Brocchiere" in Italian (wikipedia helped me here).

"Recovery Ring" is "Anello del recupero" and not "Anello di recupero". In the same fashion, "Recovery towel" will be "Telo del Recupero" instead of "Telo di Recupero".

"knuckles" are "nocche" in Italy, while "paw" is "zampa", but "Zampa d'orso" sounds better than "nocca d'orso" as translation for "Bearknuckles" (I just wanted to tell you that this one is the better choice, and you made it ^_^)

"Gloves of Haste" are more "Guanti della Fretta" than "Guanti Frettolosi" which sounds a bit unusual for my ears.

"Nessuna gemma" means "No gem". So "Void Gem" has to be translated as "Gemma del nulla" which is "Gem of the void".

"Simple band" is not "Banda semplice", because a "banda" is not properly a ring. So you can translate is as "Anello semplice".

"Banded Buckler" = "Brocchiere Fasciato", because "corazza" means "cuirass".

"Chest Scale" has a terrible translation: "Bilancia per forzieri" is a tool to measure the weigth of a treasure chest. The correct translation is "Armatura a scaglie".

"Brazer of Zarrad" made me crazy because I think that "Brazer" is not an operator, but I think that is someone who works with brass. If it's this way, it can be "Lavoratore d'ottone di Zarrad".

If "Bully Stick" is the stick you give to your dog, it has to be translated as "Bastone per cani", because "prepotente" is a bully person.

"Fireseed" is singular, so it is "Seme di fuoco" and not "Semi di fuoco".

"Chest Plate" can be translated as "Corazza" but not properly as "Pettorale" which is not wrong but strange, because it is the same word for chest muscles.

"Ascendant of Kron Medal" is the medal of the ascendant of Kron. So it's not "Ascendente della Medaglia di Kron" but "Medaglia dell'ascendente di Kron".

If you explain me what "Jammer grips", "Charges of Shadow Wardens" and "Mote" mean, I can find a correct translation.

"Blade mail" is translated as sharp mail, but it has to be "Maglia di lame".

"Blood rock" can also be translated as "Roccia di sangue", which is "rock of blood".

"Jachin's Stone Rod " is not an "Asta di Pietra di Jachin", but more a "Verga di pietra di Jachin".

"Pale Gazer" is not a "Brucatore" (sheep?), but an "Osservatore pallido".

"Rod of Atos" is "Verga of Atos" (Verga is like a sceptre, a staff, while Asta is more like a pole)

"Kreln Amuk" is translated as "Amuk Nature di kreln": why Nature?

"Nedan Bone Chest" is translated as "Sterno di Nedan". Sterno is the bone of the chest. I think that you mean armor of bones, so it's better "Corazza ossea di Nedan".

"Demon edge" is a demonic blade, not a demonic border, so it is not "Confini demoniaci", but "Lama demoniaca".

"Emerald Fork" is "Forcone di smeraldo", you eat with a "forchetta", but the weapon is a "Forcone".

"Stainless Axe" is an axe of metal which is not affected by corrosion, so it is not "Ascia d'acciaio" (steel axe), but "Ascia inossidabile".

"Corgieran Glaive" is not a "gladio" (short ancient Roman sword) but a "falcione" (long blade at the end of a pole). So it is "Falcione Corgieriano".

"Kelossian Crusher" is not a "Schiacciatore", but more a "Frantumatore".

"Bag of holding" is a bag that holds something, not a bag of participation. The correct translation is "Borsa del contenimento".

"Hole Stompers" is translated as "Pestatori del buco" which sounds terrible in Italian. It is better to translate it as "Calpestabuche".


In the book of the Items, STR is FOR (from FORZA=STRENGTH), AC is CA (Classe Armatura).
"Tutto", "CRIT" and "Guarisci" are not entirely readable.
Guarisci is not a good translation for "Heal". It would be better translated as Guarigione.

Sorry for the length of this post, but I wanted to be precise and to explain my thoughts as best as I can.

Almost everything of what Puricinu said is correct, but i found something wrong:

"Brazer of Zarrad" made me crazy because I think that "Brazer" is not an operator, but I think that is someone who works with brass. If it's this way, it can be "Lavoratore d'ottone di Zarrad".

What a bad translation! It is a brazIer, not a brazer The proper translation is "braciere".


"Chest Plate" can be translated as "Corazza" but not properly as "Pettorale" which is not wrong but strange, because it is the same word for chest muscles.

The chest plate is the armor part for the chest, and "pettorale" is not wrong, maybe incomplete the full translation is "pettorale dell'armatura", but it is too long.. So "pettorale" is ok.

Buongiorno a tutti, non essendoci una sezione Italiana ne approfitto per scrivere qui e farvi una domanda: come posso sapere ogni quanto startano i nuovi server ? Io ed i miei amici giochiamo su server differenti e vorremmo iniziare tutto da capo ma esattamente durante lo start up, quindi dove posso tenere sotto controllo questo dato ? I think nobody ever noticed that already, but when you clear a cave in the Booty cave (with the Plunder feature) or a temple in Ancient Temple, it appears a sign reading "Annihilated" in english.
In italian translate it reads "Annientanto". If you read it carefully, you'll notice that there's a wrong "n" in it, as it should be written "Annientato".
