    Third party programs

Does running a macro program in the campaign count as a third party program?

I would say yes, as it is the same effect as botting.

However Evony is going to need to make a clear ruling on it. If it is going to be allowed, then i will begin doing it immediately.

If it is not to be allowed, then some one needs to take a look at how fast hero levels are rising on server one. and do something about it.

I am not a cheater, i never even used a bot on age2, and i quit playing age2 when it became imposible to play without the bots, if this continues, it will be impossible to play this without a script of some kind as well.

If macros are allowed it will be chargeback time for me. I can deal with the troop and goods eating glitches as it is a beta, but I will not tolerate cheats.

That's what I am asking for, a clarification.
And they need to hurry up and decide.

Its not a program if it runs on your own computer and doesn't have any interplay with evony servers. Bots are programs which are totally different than programming keystroke clicks.

We're committed to improving Evony by removing players who detract from a healthy game environment by using multiple accounts, bots/third-party software, or cursing.
    ^^^^^^^^^^^^^
I was told it was considered a bot/third party software. Bots can run on your computer too. A macro has interplay as it "plays" the game.

Waiting for action UCool. Many of us ready to charge back over this one. We do not want to play a bot infested game like age 1 and na.

Terms of Service Section 1.8 states:

    d. : ) Why do players insist it is allowed?

It does not matter if you call them bots, helpers, macros, third party programs, or whatever. They are cheats, they are expressly against the rules, and every player using them knows that regardless of any of their attempts to use internet gamer legalese to justify it.

And they use them, and attempt to justify the use, just like they always have and because they are incapable of playing a game without cheating.

So Ucool, I guess we might as well teach all how to use these cheats since nothing is being done about it.

"the team" already knows and is doing nothing. Time for chargebacks and instructing ALL players on how to utilize cheats, macros and extreme alt usage. Then it will be same game for all.

lolz ofc we dont use macro or any other things of automation but just wanna make it clear 2 u .. macro programs are programs that controls the key input system of the computer and ofc it does not involve any commands associated with the game like bots ... u may say that he's using macro programs but how 2 prove it ? .. he can simply deny it by little reasonable analysis and here's the way :-

let's say that player "x" want to gain commander points of 10 million points .. let's say that he is using a city of "a friend ;P" as training city which its townhall is lv10 so he gains nearly 5k commander points 4 each hit ... it means that he'll need 2k attacks 2 achieve his goal ... lets say that each attack on the training city take 3 minutes (though iam sure it takes less)) so he needs approximately 100 hours of hitting 2 achieve it ... if we assumed that he is playing 6 hrs/day then it'll take nearly 2 weeks 2 raise his commander lvl by 10 million points which means nearly about 14 levels from 70 to 84 ... u may accuse player "x" of cheating or using macro programs but with this analysis he may say : "NO! iam hard worker player who use his playing time 2 train heroes instead of foolishly spamming the rc with nonsense talk all the day" ((guess who i mean lolz )) .... u may even say : "OH NO!!! player "x" is using alts 2 train his heroes" then ofc player "x" can deny it saying its just a city of friend who donated his city for the sake of his boss u may also ask : "then how he got all those exp points 4 hero upgrade and how he was able 2 regenerate his heroes strength ?!" and then he'll respond simply : "i just coined toxy .. do u think that u r the only 1 who have master-card ?! ))... u can cry and whine all the day dear toxic but that wont change the truth that u have lost the first, second and third rank of generals cuz u r lazy player who didn't know what is hard work since age of 20, and i proved that player "x" who u r desperately reporting is innocent from all ur accusations ... what i am asking u now dear toxy is 2 LEAVE coe team alone in peace so they may focus on 1000s of glitches running everywhere like rallyspots and HoW's glitches, dont mention the match glitches that make the game suddenly freeze or abort causing much loss to heroes energy, troops res cost and time ... hope that was enough 2 make u reasonable and stop being whiner crying child lolz .. regards

You cannot attack an alt training city while under a shield like Seganku was when he rocketed up all those levels.

Back to the OP. So UCool when are you going to stop the cheaters?
