Soul gems for Houyi

I've been usinf Houyi in my Matches but when I three star a city, the soul gems are being added to Spartacus in my Items. Anyone know how I can gain them for Houyi or are they just random?

I have the same problem... all soul gems going to Houyi, no matter which general is being used.

I think it depends on what general is defending on what soul gem you get.

So u have to attack other cities to get soul gems

SOulgems you can get with matches and on map...
but only match works...
