Recommended Team Setup for Crusade

One of the important tips for Crusade is to train multiple Heroes. Other than 5 main Heroes you also need to pay attention to the rest of your Heroes and set up your 2nd and even 3rd formations.
Each formation should contain 1 or 2 Tanks, 2 or 3 Damage Dealers and 1 Healing Support.

In my own case I categorize my heroes as followed,
Tanks: Soulhunter, Shallows Keeper, Savage One
Damage Dealers: Master Mage, Necromancer, Frost Mage, Succubus, Pilot, Leaves Shadow
Healing Support: Chaplain, Cleric

You will also need to set up your main force and your second team.
Main Force: Soulhunter, Necromancer, Frost Mage, Master Mage, Chaplain
Second Team: Shallows Keeper, Savage One, Cleric, Pilot, Leaves Shadow

The matches in Crusade are based on your power value in Arena.
Every 3 stages can be regarded as one difficulty level and there are totally 15 stages and 5 levels.
At the first 6 stages, send as many heroes as possible and try to save up their energy for later.
At the 7th, 8th and 9th stages, use your Main Force, but replace the Front line position with one Tank from your Second Team. In this way you can keep your Main Force’s HP for later stages.
At the 10th, 11th and 12th stages, the opponents power becomes very close to yours. Keeping your Heroes alive is the vital importance. Use 2 Healing Supports and use 1 Tank with stunning skills to interrupt enemies ultimate skills and AoE-damage skills.
At the 13th, 14th and 15th stages, first, send your Second Team if they are still alive. And then send your Main Force. However, if the opponent has healing support, do not send your Second Team otherwise they will gain more energy without losing any HP.

In order to complete the Crusade, you must have a Second Team and don't forget Chaplain, she will be the queen of the Crusade if you treat her well(upgrade her with level, equipment and decent stars).
Tanks are the most important Heroes in your Second Team. So develop your Tanks as much as you can. I hope this article helps. Good luck with your Crusade!

Yes! this is great advice, damm i was very mad and angry after reading the gold guild , but it seems there are good guides been made.

great explanation on crusade, of course most of the strategy changes after level 50, but by there people already understand the game and can make their own decisions.
in the begining , where it matter the most you are spot on.

and yes you are 100% correct about chapplain in my opinion and experience, chapplain is as good as people think Death knight is. only death knight isnt. and chap is.

I dropped to rank 7950 and I don't see any differences man. People around that rank are level 41; Currently I fight level 45. I mean if those real 7950 rank have to fight level 45, no way they could reach far in Crusade.

I was on the 15th stage but I decided to lvl up my heroes a bit before tackling the last battle, then when I eventually hit the 15th leg
I only got 60k prize compared to the 200k-300k I got on the previous legs, i restarted my crusade after finishing and now im only getting 10-20k per leg. Previously I was getting 100k+

I did drop in the arena a bit, but not by a considerable amount.

Yes it does..
I got around 100K at Crusade lvl 15 when I was at Team lvl 50
Now My team lvl is 60 and I got around 158K at Crusade lvl 15

According to my efforts for a week, Crusade is not connected to Arena ranking anymore. All players are getting stronger so we are facing with powerful enemies but not 100% sure.

Could you please confirm or share your experiences ?

Another hint for crusade.
When fighting very hard opponents, like stage 14-15 (mostly 15)
If they clear one of your teams, you need to pay attention on what ultimates the opponent used, because if they didn't, most likely in your 2nd round of 5 man set they will just cast 3 ultimes and wipe your team out.
So if you notice that they did not cast, use a lvl 20-30 hero in the 2nd fight, they will automaticly use all their ultimates if they are charged up, and only afterwards set up another 5 man team to fight.

Still Questionmarks inside my head, when I am thinking about Crusade.

Some days ago I was able to get to stage 12, today had hard fights just to get to stage 8, altough i let drop my arena rank from top 100 to 800.
Dont know what to do to keep my heroes alive. Already have leveled up Chaplain, which is very useful, but she cant heal that much to get much further.

Today I hired a Cleric on Mercenary Camp, but it looked to me, like he did just nothing and died on the second stage I used him.

I think it's not about your current rank but the highest rank you ever achieved in the game. Before I can do 11-13 stages on crusade but after I ranked up to 41 on arena im only able to do 6-7 on crusade

hoho, I dropped from rank 1xxx to rank 11xxx but still nothing change in Crusade.

Yeah ucool did use your highest possible ranking for Arena reward and for Crusade; if they don't they did not record it for nothing.

Hello.
Is it just me or it does happen to everyone that my heroes' energy and health do not regenerate at the end of each Crusade battle?

My tanks are dying if they do not regen

Has anyone tried on a new account to avoid gaining any standing in the arena for a long time to see if the Crusade remains laughably easy?

I am curious if the rewards might be enough from always getting Crusade 15 to go without arena payoffs for a while (until confident you can grab a really high spot, or are done with Crusade rewards).
