Wut, that's the whole point of hiring a mercenary, get someone stronger than you to give you the necessary boost to 3 star or complete a stage. What were they thinking? Didn't know this is the case.

I think that one should be able to hire a hero who is 1/2levels higher but it does not really make sense to allow a lvl 30 to hire a lvl 50 hero. Also this is kind of an automatic stabiliser. People who have outrun most of their mates will effectively earn less money from employment than their lower level maters. You are trading money for power. I agree with this since the gap between the most powerful and those of lesser power is somehow lessened.

May I have more explaination on this statement. Im used to save money to buy 10x bronze chest because there is a chance of getting random Hero and stone. Btw i just started this game yesterday. N I think I already bought 7 set of 10x bronze chest for my 2 char, I got 3 heroes( one star). I believe that if we get a hero that we already have, then we will get the respective hero stone. I hope it true, im looking forward to evolve one of my 1 star hero. I just giving opinion on the advantges of the bronze crest. Hope u can further reply on the downside of buying the crest other than u can save money to upgrade skill.

I opened about 50-70 bronze chests and never got a hero from them o.O were you pethaps referring to gold chests bought with gems? You get 7 soul stones if you happen to get the same hero. If you were able to get 3 heroes from bronze, then you should probably continue to open them lol, although they are 1 star heroes.

Yeah. U r right. This thread is all about raising money. Im a bit obsess to get new hero. Btw. I only up my skill when Im failed in the stages or when necessary. My skill level not that high. Anyway I still manage to pass the stages until my stamina used up. Huhu
But I think I will face difficulties in the future. Should start maxing my skill. XD

The aim of going trough campaign is so that you open new stages to:
1) get the equipment you need
2) get hero soul stones

Imo you should start farming soul stone of your preferred hero everyday as you only get 3 free chances at elite maps each day.

Money drops really, really, really need to be increased. The main problem is when you get a new hero it takes forever to get their skills up. How much does it take to max skills of a level 40 character? A couple million gold? Not to mention that your "main" characters will not be keeping up while you up the skills of your new character.

For instance, I finally got Ice Mage about 5 days ago. She still isn't as powerful as my previous 5 heroes, and those five heroes cant grow or help me do better in Crusade or Arena because it costs so much to up the skills of the new hero. This means there is no way to play around with your hero set-up, as you can't waste gold leveling skills unless you know you want to use that hero forever.

Oh, and as far as the mercenary thing, yes you need to be able to hire people more powerful than you. Why would I spend 20k gold to hire someone less powerful? That just doesnt make any sense.

I just made a post about the mercenary thing. Also, I personally use mercenary ONLY in crusade since having that extra hero may allow me to proceed to the next level and open a chest, which gives more money than that i spent on emplyment, so maybe i end up 5k + 1 item richer. I do believe that employment is all about crusade and to replace a fallen tank/dps/mage so you can progress further and nothing more.

I only read this on another thread, but currently no evidence to support. Personally have doubts about this. Another theory I had is that the game takes your top 5 highest power heroes and adds that up together and gives you enemies with equivalent power. I think crusade is currently way too hard.

Today was the first time I actually finished the crusade, winning all 15 stages. Use to be able to clear only 2-3 of them, but for some reason, this time I only faced really weak opponents; that got me about 1 mil coins (cash + gold items). I'll lower my arena rank for tomorrow's crusade to test if it's related, as I did have a lower rank when i started the last crusade (i usually did the crusade after arena rewards, so my rank used to be around my max potential).

6. Midas is ofc a way how to get money, i use it about 5-9 times a day. I suggest that if u like the game it is worth gtfing to VIP 1/2 just for th extra chances at midas. We have a flow of gems everyday which can be used on midas and maybe stamina if needed. I suggest to go for the monthly card which gives 120 gems daily for 30 days if ure willing to spend, its by far the most worth it offer imo.

I think it is not worth to use Midas more than 1 time.. ( for daily quest)
I don't know b4 lvl 35 or sth..
but after U finished chapter 6.. it is totally not worth it..

For example : U use midas 3 time.. that mean 10 +20 + 20 gems = 50 gems for .. 24000 + 26000 + 28000 = 78000 coin

but if you refill stamina with that 50 gems = 120 stamina.. and U use it to raid 20 times... in chapter 6 (impact of the kreln cleansing fires)
you will get 1 exp slave ,1 exp potion , 1300 coin and some item for each raid
20 time = 20 slave 20 potion 20x 1300 coin and 30 to 35 item
= (20x 1200) + (20 x 400) + (20x 1300) + more than 20000 ( i can grantee )
= 24000 + 8000 + 26000 + 20000
= 78000 + 120 team exp
I would suggest 1 time midas for the rest use it to refill stamina .. U will need items for your heroes + team exp

And I would suggest don't sell any exp potion...
U will need a hell lot in high lvl
I am buying them from market everyday... T_T

I can see your point mate. I'm currently on level 44 and it's getting harder and harder to level up all my heros. I can imagine that there could be a huge lack of portions when you reach level 50.
On lower levels you get overwhelmed by xp portions so it's seems to be lucrative to sell them. But I think in the longterm it could be a crucial disadvantage. Could a more high level player please share his experiences with us?

That post was a week ago man i was lv 40ish and no need to exp, now im 53 and its already being painful not have noted this before

but thats the way we all learn i think

anyway i like he took the time to do it and im even more glad that u can straight it a bit bcuz your one of the more advanced player that comes here to contribute
