    Bleh

I have been using the wheel DAILY since it was introduced. I have noticed that the prize payout for 99% of the players went down significantly RIGHT AROUND when that mail promising us the return of general Beowulf. For some ungodly reason, the Historic and Throne rewards, as well as the casino and alliance gifts, are now so unlikely to give gems that the initial promise of making a package reward that was "more valuable" in place of giving daily gems for holding a gold spot a moot point, 5 gems a day would be worth FAR more than giving us gold/goods/chintzy credit amounts. Yet I can sit here and watch the Realm chat all day and see people who have already hit big on the wheel just keep getting lucky and getting more and more. In exceeding 100 spins I have neither won gems nor any prize larger than 5k general EXP and 5 advanced teleporters. You tell us the Casino is entirely chance but you guys control the probability that it will land on something. Why on earth would you implement a feature that for roughly 90% or more users, will not give a prize worth more than the cost to spin it? I'm still infuriated that I can watch the same people keep showing up in realm chat having won yet another huge prize while I get 16k coins or goods from the hilariously unrewarding lottery chest, or maybe I can get lucky and score myself an infinite cache of double exp.

I find it exceptionally hard to believe that the developers of this game would ask people to spend money on a half baked beta game and put all of their effort into nerfing every payout feature the game has to corner people into spending money to even properly advance and continue with the beta process. At this point, your product is more so an infuriating full effort money grubbing toy. It falls beautifully in line with every other uCool game. They all have shockingly little effort put into developing features and goals for you to aspire to reach while putting in these funny little features that are designed to soften the blow of the realization that not only was there no intent to actually entertain us, but that even if you pay money, the game somehow doesn't reward you with anything!

I refer to the achievements system which gives small amounts of gems, a cleverly disguised system to give the players a couple more freebie gems while not giving enough to actually be useful. A tease. Just like the added upgrades to certain buildings when you introduced level 10 townhall were far more expensive than the cost to get to the previous max level, as well as beyond exceeding a reasonable length of time for the upgrade. The casino has somehow done nothing but reward a handful of random players repeatedly while leaving others to wonder if they will ever win anything more than a goods/gold/credits/double exp pack.

The most obnoxious feature added to the game is the Throne. The battle mechanics for that are nothing short of awe inspiring since it seems to be nothing more than a minimal damage calculator that requires the defenders lose at least one troop. The other mind boggling piece to this is the entrapment it poses. The so-called "King" is forced to be host of this alliance, with no merging capabilities, no way to leave the realm, and more importantly, no way to hand off the King-ship to another in the alliance. I also stand shocked at the throne titles. The ones before you released the titles were considerably higher paying rewards for the title holder. The bad titles don't really affect anyone as much as you would think, and there aren't NEARLY enough positive ones. There's so much more that could be done with that.

My final beef is with the soul gems. This feature has done nothing but make it far harder for newer players to ever be equal to players that had their generals before that feature was introduced. Anyone who gets a general aside from Spartacus starts out at ZERO soul gems or star levels for their general. The drop rate in matches for these soul gems went down at the aforementioned update mentioning introducing Beowulf. The wheel doesn't give away anywhere near enough to fill the gap. The troop building time needed to compete in these matches takes far too long, which adds to the problem. The fact that map battles don't give out soul gems is also maddening along with the fact that you can't directly PAY FOR THEM. You have to pay for the troops, or pay some outlandish fee to spin the wheel enough times to max them out.

All in all, it's not a pretty picture painted here, and the lack of feedback from the developers or their invisible front men only seems to add to the illusion that not only do you guys have no customer service ability, but you don't even care enough to pretend to listen to us either? I mean, that's a pretty mindblowing ass backwards way of running this whole thing, don't you think? I mean, I've tried to keep my mouth shut but at this point, I have absolutely no reason to not say anything as much as I don't have any reason TO say anything. No one's listening, and no one's going to turn this heap around and get it back on track.

They have abandoned the game. If people are too stupid to realize this . . . .

Yep, Elvis has left the building. They have made Heroes Charge available for Ipad and Iphone. I see it in Itunes and in the app store, that is where they are spending their time and bucks right now. Certainly not here, they have our money and they don't need us, the mods are gone, Dawn is gone. It's just us and the spammers.

Personally, I think chargeback done correctly might be a good way to get their attention, not a few of us, but a lot of us doing it. A few people have been successful and posted how they were able to accomplish it, UCool has abandoned the game, pretty sure that should get us some leverage with paypal.

Next, let's all download the new game, we don't have to play it, but let's be sure not to spend a dime and write a review. A really really lousy review, right now in Itunes David Guo the owner of UCool/Regan/Evony has a review out on the new game, I think most of the positive reviews in fact are Ucool employees. We can certainly write reviews based on our experiences with customer support and seeing them fix bugs.

After you have downloaded the new game (so you can write that zero star review) complain to Apple support (or support for whatever device you use) about doing business with companies that have a such a poor track record. You know, Chinese companies that started out as WoW gold mining sites, used porn ads to get Evony noticed, sued a game reviewer for an honest review of their product, allowed massive cheating and so on and so on. I'm betting you could find a couple of BBB reviews on them under any one of their many names. This is not the kind of company they want to do business with, Apple will be refunding money to players as things heat up. Somehow I don't think they will want to be doing that lol

Let's remind Ucool that we are here, waiting for support or waiting for accounts to be returned. And get them to focus a bit on this game or on any of the games they have built and abandoned.
